We were tired of drinking coffee that gave us jitters and headaches from regular coffee stores and went out to find coffee that wouldn't give us that effect" says Justin Chang, one of the founders of Sole Coffee and Tea.
"In search for such a product, we found out the headaches and jitters come from mold in low quality coffee, and is not a side effect of caffeine as people commonly think. In doing so, we discovered the effect of high quality tea as well which can help with cholesterol and blood pressure. In finding sources for all of these products, we started Sole Coffee and Tea with a mission to bring the highest quality of coffee and tea to people. In the process, we also hope to educate people on why our product is better for your physically and mentally."
Sole is a small local company that values quality over quantity. Roasted locally out of Orange County and based in beautiful Redondo Beach, CA. "We roast our Organic Coffee in 200 lb batches and since they are single origin, meaning they come from the same farm, we can assure consistency from one batch to the next unlike larger conglomerates like Starbucks. All of our coffee is also grown in high elevation allowing for a unique flavor for each region" says Chang.
"OUR ORGANIC TEA LEAVES ARE ALSO SINGLE ORIGIN AND WE ONLY USE THE TIP OF EACH LEAF FOR OUR PRODUCTS.
The tip of the leaf is where all of the aroma is of the highest potency, which makes our product that much better than the next."
All of Soles organic coffees are sourced from individual farms around the world. Ethiopian and Kenyan coffee are directly imported from two single farms in Africa. Colombia is directly from a single farm in Colombia. The Organic Teas follows the same sourcing process as well but for Korea, Taiwan, and China.
